“My screwed up life!”

Let me first start by introducing myself. My name is Claudia Simpsons. I am an 18 year-old stuck-up teenager. I really enjoy going out on dates, that’s if I ever get a chance to be asked out. I have gone through a lot during my past teenage years. I never thought that one day I will be able to smile again. I don’t mean a fake smile but the real deal. As my friends will always say “You psycho!” but honestly I think it was my life’s drama that made me to sometimes lose it.
My parents would say that I’m so caught up on my teenage years. Duh! I am a teenager what did they expect? An adult?! My point exactly. They expect me to pretend as if I am not going through puberty. God! I’m only a child how can they expect so much from me. Parents, parents, parents… They contributed a lot in making my life miserable but the award has to go to… drum roll please… “B-R-A-D-Y” everybody scream before I even called out his name.
“No he is not the rightful owner of the award.” I said. “Then who is?” they all asked. “Well The rightful owner of the award is… is… no one. You all contributed equally. Lydia you did your bit and you also took part Wendy.” I said. They did not look impressed. “Was it that quite obvious?” I asked. “No hey it took us hours to figure that one out.” Zelda said in a very sarcastic manner. I wanted to debate the issue further but I decided not to because I guess it was quite obvious.
Congratulations Brady once again you managed to put me on a tight spot as usual. I hate him; I hate him to the exponent 10. On my way from school there he is standing on the corner it’s like he knew that I will be passing by any minute now. By this time I just wish to turn invisible so that I could pass by without seeing him. “Hi, how are you?” he greeted. I had two answers for him, the very nasty answer that could take twenty therapists to help through or a very reserved one. I decided to be polite this time, not that he deserved it but hey girls gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
“I am super and you?” I asked back. “No everything is cool. I don’t mean to be forward or anything but there’s a favour I need to ask you.” He said. Before he even asked me anything I said “yes” like a mad-dog thinking that he is going to ask me out or something but that was the dumbest thing ever. It was too late; I already agreed to go on a date with his nerdish friend who has had a crush on me for like a decade now. Then again I have to Congratulate Brady for messing up my life.
