Life is like a diagram there are lot of sides to it. It is like a 2-dimensional image; the one side is pretty good and fair but the other is horrific and scary. Many people have rebuked Daily Dispatch for publicising such a horrific photograph but they had to show us the harsh realities of life. According to BCCSA gruesome photographs are not supposed to be shown to the public; the media house must take precautionary measures. Notwithstanding that law but I still support Daily Dispatch for publicising the photo.
As a budding media scholar I believe we are supposed to be the eye of the people and report fairly on what’s good and bad. This story was also of an informatory purpose because it also enlightens us about the state of other mortuaries. Growing up as a child people had great respect for the dead but now mortuaries undermine that; they take the corpses as if they belong to dogs. What the world has come up to? It is sad to see this world deteriorating minute by minute. Many women who also want to dispatch their babies may they think about this photo maybe by God’s grace they will think twice.
