Mystrery Man!

You know the feeling that you try hard to fight but I guess I can’t shake the feeling. My tummy feels empty after I have devoured a king sized burger. My legs just feel too heavy for my knees. My heart for a reason is starting to beat faster. I even smile in my sleep. I guess I have found puppy love and I just want to act like a puppy…and I mean literally. I want to jump up and down, roll over you know the drill.

To shoe addicts the feeling is like getting hold of the last exclusive Jimmy Choo shoes and there are three other women who are ready to go down and fight for the shoe, but you are the one who has the shoe.

To fashionista it’s like creating a trend that’s like a revolution on its own. The thrill, the joy of becoming a fashion guru people will be talking about you from generations and generations to come.

How can I forget addicts…laughs! I feel like I’ve got my fix.

I feel like dancing in the rain naked! I don’t understand what is happening to me but I can’t complain because I have never felt this good before.

I’m in Space now and floating with stars. I want to write your name in the sky. Where were you years ago, where were you to mend my heart?

There’s something about you, is it your smile? Is it the way you walk or perhaps the way you speak? There’s just something about you. You just stand out from the rest. There are many guys out there who try to impress but your presence just makes the rest seem worst. But you already taken…

Online journalism in South Africa

Online journalism can be defined as the distribution of news by various newspapers through the internet. The internet has created a vast platform for people to also contribute in the news making process. Mainstream journalists market their stories through the internet because a mounting number of people now prefer online news.
They prefer online news because it is more effective to surf the net, it is also limitless and easily accessible.  Breaking stories can be easily linked online and there are regular upgrades on them.
Timeslive
The Times is a daily South African newspaper. It also has an online newspaper called thetimes.co.za. It is under AVUSA and a member to DMMA (Digital Media and Marketing Associations.)
Timeslive has good top breaking stories and regular updates are made on the page. Their layout is easy to follow and they upload quality photos and videos.
Layout
Top Left of page: There is a logo of the newspaper
Top right of page: There is weather information.
Then below that there is the leading story of the moment. Next to the leading story there is advertisement placement. Underneath that there is sport news and there are more advertisement, voting polls and opinions.
Bottom left of the page: There is the cartoon segment.

Pretoria news
Since 1999 it has been under Idependant Online. Pretoria News is also a daily mainstream newspaper which has been an active contributer to the online news.
Their layout is simple and not bombarded with many things. The template which they use makes it really hard to get access on audios and videos. Videos are rarely uploaded.
Layout
Top Left of page: There is a logo of the newspaper
The top story follows just underneath the logo. Underneath that Gauteng,  South African, Business and Sport news follow.

Sowetan live
Sowetan is South Africa’s well-known daily newspaper. It is under AVUSA and a member to the DMMA.
It’s template design doesn’t differ much from timeslive. It is a good news site as the necessary photos, links and videos are uploaded.

A Cinderella story.

Once upon a time in a far far away castle...There lived a beautiful girl with her two evil friends. Okay I wish my story was a fairy-tale but it isn't. We often do things and expect to put blame on others but it really work that way. Yes, people betrayed you in the past and yes, you have been hurt a thousand times but is that the reason you should live your life in regret and resent?

What I have learned is that people mustn't determine how we must live our lives, they mustn't determine the choices we make in life. Imagine having to live your life just to please others...What a drag I tell you.:) We are what we are because of other people but it doesn't mean we should suck up to whatever they say. I say take a stand and live your life the way you want to live it!

How do you know you have fallen?

Some things happen and they just leave you feeling somehow strange not in a bad way though. The feeling is unexplainable...it's like you hungry but food won't just do the trick. You feel like touching the sky whilst you standing on the ground. It's like magic. When ask my friends the meaning of this they say it must be love but I really don't know. How does one know that their in love?

After all the drama I had last year, would I want to risk being hurt just all in the name of love? I guess we don't have a voice our hearts makes the decision. It is also said that love doesn't ask why, it speaks from the heart. So ladies I think we should stop fighting with our hearts and let things be. If you see a guy and your heart starts beating faster and your hands sweat, don't fight the feeling just endure the moment.

Love is so precious and a nice to feel. They might have hurt you once but is he worth losing the feeling of love? Love is not a mistake. Make your relationship worth while and if you think you kissing frogs well Prince Charming was also a frog, transform your man to a prince too.

All in love is never lost.

For you I'd be a fool not because I'm stupid but because you have taught me life's greatest lessons.
For you I'd be a slave for love because I was made to love.
All lost is never gained but loving you was never a loss.
You were my summer throughout my cold winter's nights,
You brought sunlight to my fading sparik.
Your smile was all I ever lived for,
Your touch was all I longed for.
Your love changed me for the better,
You gave love a new meaning so fresh yet so pure.
You were indeed my pot of gold!

The scary truth.

Women might be able to fake orgasms, but men can fake a whole relationship tweets Sharon Stone. Her statement got a lot in my mind, I had a paradigm shift about all the truth’s and lies of the world. Honestly this statement kinda scared me. I don’t allow my significance other to touch me anymore because I see no point to it he might be faking the whole thing. I’m not saying don’t trust your man anymore but you should however take a lot into consideration.
There are so many kinds of relationships out there and many new kinds that are hitting the Broadway as we speak. Have you ever heard of a ‘Blitz-attack’? Many guys are investing in this relationship more often than usual. A Blitz-attack relationship is when a woman comes across this guy who is perfectin every sense. They start going out and eventually it becomes a relationship.
The guy is charming, caring, sweet, romantic; he just sweeps you off your foot. The guy buys you flowers, takes you out. He is basically a hundred times better than your ex. Do you believe in fairy tales? Picture yourself as Cinderella or Snowhite, as you are sleeping in your castle waiting for your Romeo to bring you breakfast in bed…voooooomm! The guy just vanishes out of your life just like that without any warning.
It feels like you have been dreaming for six months or more or you were under hypnosis. The guys invest all their time and money on you but for what, if he will vanish just like that? Being blitzed is slowly but surely becoming a trend. Guys are targeting different kinds of women, who knows it might be you next. Imagine the trauma you’d go through if this was to happen to you.
You know he is a Blitzer when he constantly uses lines like “It was love at first sight”, “We were made for each other”, “I’ve never felt like this about anyone before”.
Next time you come across any guy who fits this description just run a mile and spare yourself from pain and heartache.

Men are definitely from Mars!

I sometimes don’t understand men and their policies or what-not’s. These homosapiens are most related to the Mars species. How can one question something so obvious, he sees that there is something wrong with you but he still won’t do anything to try and make you feel better. Funny how I thought I have mastered the psychology of menology and how their brains function but still they seize to amaze me. Ladies I’m certain you nodding your heads with me right now. I want to touch to the top five areas where they always go wrong.
1.    Our feelings
They say we are too emotional, I mean duh! #rolling eyes. Women are naturally born with the nurturing side. My yearlong partner says he doesn’t understand why I have to be so sissy. He says why do I have to cry about everything and if you can ask me what’s everything it is probably something he did. They think we are weird when we see a newborn baby and start talking in a baby way saying that the baby is cute. It’s like they were sent here on their big spaceship to just tear us apart.
2.    Our PMS
My partner and his friends also have a nickname for pre-menstrual syndrome they say it’s our ‘pre-Maniac syndrome’. It’s not my fault that my hormones are all over the place, when I want to cry and smile at the same time then let me be. Who put them in charge of our PMSes anyway? As far I remember there are no ‘PMS Officers!’
3.    Our weight
Oh hell no! When a men comments on my weight. He has no right to tell you that you have picked up some weight and when you have drastically lost weight. You hear them saying you are a bit under or over weight. Next time he says anything offensive about your weight just look at him with a smile and say that goes for the two of us because you also seriously need to work on that pot-belly or those walky-talky’s.
4.    Our hair.
Can they find their spaceship already and let them head back where they’re from. Their favourite line ‘I love a women with natural hair’, well I love my weave the way it is thank you. Weave or natural hair what’s the big deal you fell in love with me not my hair. I also have another tip for you ladies when he starts about the hair topic tell him that he is balding.
5.    Want we want in bed.
You get this guy squeezing your breast so hard and this other one licking you like some kind of a Chihuahua. They automatically assume they know what we want and when you try to tell him what he can do after that round forget you’ll ever hear from him again. They refuse the truth and they will forever continue with their mistakes.

For all the man who has viewed this post, my advice to you is that it’s either you shape-up or ship-out! When you see me frowning just take your time and find out what is wrong. My ladies I hope you will find my tips handy. Let’s bridge the gap, let’s get even.
