Love and Lust!

What may seem to you as love might not neccesarily be. What bothers me the most is that people cannot differentiate between love and lust. People still get it wrong! I'm no love guru but hey sometimes things are just quite obvious. There is a fine line between love and lust and trust me, the line is really fine!
The question that you should ask yourself is that are you just his bootycall? Some of my friends are just bootycalls yet they still fail to see that. You should be worried if he only calls you really late and if he only calls you to remind you about your visit to his house.
That line crossed.
How to differentiate between love and lust. I did my own research and I came up with atleast 5 signs of love and lust.
Lustville!
It is often hard to catch that lusting eye. My top five hints that shows that you are nothing more than a shag-mate are:
SIGNS OF LUST

• You're totally focused on a person's looks and body.
• You're interested in having sex, but not in having conversations.
• You'd rather keep the relationship on a fantasy level, not discuss real feelings.
• You want to leave soon after sex rather than cuddling or breakfast the next morning.
• You are lovers, but not friends.

Endless love!
Some may argue that sex gives a relationship a stable core but sometimes that's not really the case.
SIGNS OF LOVE

• You want to spend quality time together other than sex.
• You get lost in conversations and forget about the hours passing.
• You want to honestly listen to each other's feelings, make each other happy.
• He or she motivates you to be a better person.
• You want to get to meet his or her family and friends.

It's time for introspection. Now the last thing I want you to do for me is look deep into your relationship. Now tell me are you in lust or love?

Crush Diaries!

I was told by a friend once that she'd do anything for love and I mean A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G. My friend is a typical flirt and she doesn't live life with regrets. Her life is just mixed with different personalities, that I never knew they existed.
The thing that got me thinking about her is that she is the inspiration behind this post..."Crushes". We all have our embarrassing moments regarding a certain crush. I remember I had a crush on this guy for six full years and I never said a word to him.
My friend on the other side, she did drastic things. She reminded me of the CSI because she was always on top of her game, within an hour she already knew basic stuff about the guy like where he stays, what is his pet's name etc.  I still wonder where she got some of the information from.
I must admit I was impressed by her courage because it takes guts to speak to a guy you really like. Is it a bad thing though to tell a guy how you feel? I say shying in the corner and waiting for the guy to make that move is so late 80's.
Guys are just guys, he may like you but you might be giving him mixed signals that he ends up not making that move. Being the loving blogger that I am, I decided to give you five tips that he is into you.
To be or not to be!

• Eye Contact: You always catch him staring, when you look back he shys away.
• Time: He finds time to talk with you.
• Body Language: He sometimes leans towards you. When you are talking to him, he fidgets.
• Smile: He smiles at you and tries to be friendly.
• He listens: He takes note of each and everything you say and he doesn't forget.

So girls get your groove on and do it....yeah tell him that you "LIKE HIM". Remember you live once, it could have been different if we were cats but sadly we not! Take care.

Mystrery Man!

You know the feeling that you try hard to fight but I guess I can’t shake the feeling. My tummy feels empty after I have devoured a king sized burger. My legs just feel too heavy for my knees. My heart for a reason is starting to beat faster. I even smile in my sleep. I guess I have found puppy love and I just want to act like a puppy…and I mean literally. I want to jump up and down, roll over you know the drill.

To shoe addicts the feeling is like getting hold of the last exclusive Jimmy Choo shoes and there are three other women who are ready to go down and fight for the shoe, but you are the one who has the shoe.

To fashionista it’s like creating a trend that’s like a revolution on its own. The thrill, the joy of becoming a fashion guru people will be talking about you from generations and generations to come.

How can I forget addicts…laughs! I feel like I’ve got my fix.

I feel like dancing in the rain naked! I don’t understand what is happening to me but I can’t complain because I have never felt this good before.

Online journalism in South Africa

Online journalism can be defined as the distribution of news by various newspapers through the internet. The internet has created a vast platform for people to also contribute in the news making process. Mainstream journalists market their stories through the internet because a mounting number of people now prefer online news.

They prefer online news because it is more effective to surf the net, it is also limitless and easily accessible.  Breaking stories can be easily linked online and there are regular upgrades on them.

Timeslive

The Times is a daily South African newspaper. It also has an online newspaper called thetimes.co.za. It is under AVUSA and a member to DMMA (Digital Media and Marketing Associations.)  

Timeslive has good top breaking stories and regular updates are made on the page. Their layout is easy to follow and they upload quality photos and videos.

Then below that there is the leading story of the moment. Next to the leading story there is advertisement placement. Underneath that there is sport news and there are more advertisement, voting polls and opinions.

Pretoria news

Since 1999 it has been under Idependant Online. Pretoria News is also a daily mainstream newspaper which has been an active contributer to the online news.  

Their layout is simple and not bombarded with many things. The template which they use makes it really hard to get access on audios and videos. Videos are rarely uploaded.

Sowetan is South Africa’s well-known daily newspaper. It is under AVUSA and a member to the DMMA.

It’s template design doesn’t differ much from timeslive. It is a good news site as the necessary photos, links and videos are uploaded.

A Cinderella story.

Once upon a time in a far far away castle...There lived a beautiful girl with her two evil friends. Okay I wish my story was a fairy-tale but it isn't. We often do things and expect to put blame on others but it really work that way. Yes, people betrayed you in the past and yes, you have been hurt a thousand times but is that the reason you should live your life in regret and resent?

What I have learned is that people mustn't determine how we must live our lives, they mustn't determine the choices we make in life. Imagine having to live your life just to please others...What a drag I tell you.:) We are what we are because of other people but it doesn't mean we should suck up to whatever they say. I say take a stand and live your life the way you want to live it!

How do you know you have fallen?

Some things happen and they just leave you feeling somehow strange not in a bad way though. The feeling is unexplainable...it's like you hungry but food won't just do the trick. You feel like touching the sky whilst you standing on the ground. It's like magic. When ask my friends the meaning of this they say it must be love but I really don't know. How does one know that their in love?

After all the drama I had last year, would I want to risk being hurt just all in the name of love? I guess we don't have a voice our hearts makes the decision. It is also said that love doesn't ask why, it speaks from the heart. So ladies I think we should stop fighting with our hearts and let things be. If you see a guy and your heart starts beating faster and your hands sweat, don't fight the feeling just endure the moment.

Love is so precious and a nice to feel. They might have hurt you once but is he worth losing the feeling of love? Love is not a mistake. Make your relationship worth while and if you think you kissing frogs well Prince Charming was also a frog, transform your man to a prince too.

All in love is never lost.
